I am seriously considering joining the peace corp after I graduate from Penn State Beave. I have read a lot about it on the site but would like to hear a more personal view. Anyone ever join it? I would rather have help from people who have had first hand experience or know people who have.
i haven't joined...but i have a friend who is and will be going to Africa soon, once all the final paperwork has cleared and such
Yeah I have been thinking about it...and its what I need to do. I really want to help people and I would love to go to another country. Hopefully South America.
I met someone the other month who was (re?)joining the peace corps, and shipping all his stuff to his daughter, he seemed so made up to be back doing something good and organized, u should definitely consider it. =)
