:daisy: Hi... i haven't posted here in many moons. I live in chandler... wondering if there are any other beautiful peaceful likeminded people out there? I love to hike, frisbee golf, hang out for coffee or beer, camp, chill with my dogs and friends, cook, paint. Anybody looking for people to hang out with? BTW I'm moving to Flag in a couple months but you can never have too many friends in too many places. Almost forgot the main point of this post... anyone know any good spots to drive out to the desert from the east valley and see stars? these cool evenings are too good to pass up for stargazing. have a lovely day, brody
You can see the stars real clear here in tonopah & at the same time enjoy the hot spings here. From where you are it's approx.80 mil. It's a nice drive if you can miss rush hour.If you do decide to check tonopah out,i would be more than happy to be your guide, even though there's not much to do in tonopah. Have a rainbow day Love & Peace Milton
hey milton! thanks for the info. between work & a series of camping trips i planned this weekend i won't be able to head that way till probably early december. but when i do, i'll give you a head's up for a tour. thanks for the info. i hope you have a beautiful day. - brody
hey sister, if you want some awesome somewhat close to town stargazing, just head north on highway 17 out of phoenix, pull off at table mesa road and look at the stars! it's one of my favourite places... basically if you look at google maps and find any spot at the end of some road it's pretty good stargazing
I've just moved to Phoenix, arriving at night from the north and the views up I-17 are spectacular once you get out of the city and all the lights.
come up to the grand canyon, ill show you around!!!! the most beautiful stars, scenery ive ever seen!!!!!! Btw....i work, play, live up there
I've been up at the Grand Canyon for 8 months. Usually every year we have a bunch of astronomers here at the canyon teaching us all about the stars...come on up next June and join us. Sorry my camera doesn't take very good pics of stars, but I love the sunset here.
