What do you guys think about it? I was reluctant about it at first but my friend somehow convinced me to go as a hippie for hallowen at school...which won't be to much different from my normal dressing style but still. What are you thoughts about it?
I wont lie. Im always tempted just to go as a more clique version of myself for halloween. lol but its kind of a joke.
It'll help your budget to just dress in stuff ya already got. I made a crazy crown out of wire and rocks, a tye died cape and a bandana vest... tis my costume plus my bell bottoms a a tye dye shirt.. Hehe I'm always a crazy hippie for halloween, bust out my favorite gathering rags and go dance around. The year before last I was a crippled hippie, with a wheelchair (yeah I get bored) This year I'm gonna be retrogirl... a superhero version of myself.. it's gonna rock. Cool thing is I never have to buy a costume and everyone loves my outfit. Have you seen those cheap 'be a hippie' costumes at the stores... they make me laugh, it'd be easier to make your own out of rags.... happy haunting... ooo zombie hippies would be cool too, maybe next year :jester:
Well I'm doing it. My son is going as an army guy, so I'm gonna have a protest sign. I already made a topic about it so I won't say more.
I think I did that one year purely to make my life easier lol. I was just like screw that I'm myself...no wait! i'm a hippie.
lol, I dressed up as a hippie last year. I wasn't invited to go anywhere, but it was still a fun costume. If I (by some miracle) get invited to do anything for Halloween this year, I'll do it again. I don't think dressing up as a hippie does do any harm, really. And... it's fun! Go for it, dude, if that's what makes you happy. ("whatever gets you through the night...")
I was asked by the receptionist at work if I was going to dress in costume for halloween (which is not a great idea in my line of work). I told her I was going to come as a hippie. she cracked up and said (jokingly) how will we know it's you? I figure I'll wear one of my tie dye dresses and leave my hair down, man.
