I don't know if it was because I had taken an antihistimine (meclizine) earlier or if I did too much too fast but I got so high I couldn't stand up, had really loud ringing in my ears and umm...I couldn't see too well. We were smoking on the front porch and by the time I walked into the doorway I started falling (everything went a little black and I couldn't balance enough to walk) and had to be caught so as I didn't hit the ground. This was about 2am and I still had residual dizziness this morning and I still feel a little stoned. Could it be the pot on top of the meclizine? I was told I did it too fast, is that it? Or did I take too many hits for a first timer?
that antihistamine might have made you a little more drowsy but thats all. if it was ur first time smoking u prolly just got really baked. ive only had seen all black and stuff when i stood up to fast but it only last a few minutes. im not sure about the ringing in ur ears ive never had that happen from smoking to much pot. the worst thing that happens to me is if i smoke alot of rego weed i get a little headache but nothing major.
The ringing in my ears was loud and there was sort of a fuzzy sound along with it. Someone was trying to talk to me and I could hardly hear them because it sounded like they were 100 miles away. After I laid down my vision came back but there was some sort of fuzzy pattern filter on everything. I'm really confused because I've never heard of pot knocking someone on their ass like this. It wasn't something wrong with the pot because the other person I was smoking with was fine....no crazy symptoms just normal ones. He did say it was expensive stuffs. Also it was 1 joint, me and someone twice my size (93lbs)...could my size have anything to do with it? lol, I'm grasping at straws now.
just take it slower next time, and no otc drugs. i have two different rings in my ears (never been related to smoking for me) one is superficial, just a ring, and when i pull on that earlobe for a few secs it goes away. the other is weirder, like a ring, plus a hum, plus being very far away from anyone who is talking. that i just have to wait for to go away. i figured it was pressure related, but i dont know. weight is going to affect you. period. but you dont have to try to keep up with anybody else either.
and if it was expensive, it was probably good quality wise, and that is a whole different realm of high that i am not an expert in. happy smoking
Well, I did it again last night...cept I did less and no problems. The night before I guess I didn't know how it would affect me and it kind of hit me suddenly. One minute I'm fine and the next...
That's similar to what happened to me when I first smoked. About how thick was the joint you smoked on the first night?
wait, is that a typo or the other person was 93 pounds, making you 47 lbs or so? If you actually are 93 or 47 pounds that probably has a lot to do with you getting really high.
Another user brought into the world of marijuana like this. It happened to me. Everybody told me that I would just laugh and stuff. I smoked and seen colourful patterns, distant sounds, and my vision got like a flip-book or glitchy. Time sense was altered and things. Ringing in the ears sounds like a drop in blood pressure. If you were dizzy then thats what happened. Lack of oxygen to the brain can cause tinnitus or ringing in ears. I think I'm gonna write an article about effects of marijuana. It may not be common, but it IS NORMAL.
Oooh, I already have very low blood pressure...I started to mention that...it must be it. Totally makes sense because I had a similar sensation coming off the evil Paxil (only it lasted 3 weeks) because when I stopped taking it, it lowered my already low blood pressure for some reason.
