whats the deal with this: http://www.knottyboy.com/shop/maintenance_products/ They sell: -tightening gel -conditioning spray -cooling moisture spray -dreadlock shampoo -and of course wax whats the consensus on these other products, that are not wax, is it all just marketing? cause i dont see how anything could work better than tea tree oil/sea salt/baking soda/lemon juice mix i use or dr. bronners to wash. but whats the deal?
I've never tried their stuff. But it's just a business like any other, trying to profit off their goods. I think they are overpriced. I don't use any maintenance products on my dreads anymore, but when I did, I used the mango lime gel from www.rastagroup.com It's natural and smells great.
Generally overpriced but not bad product. If you live in a decent urban area with good health food stores, most of those things can be reproduced cheaper. If you're in rural buck-fuck-nowhere and you can't find things like real aloe gel easily, their product can be a good option.
no need for that just use shampoo and some oil when they get dry that's what I do. I even condition every week and I love it !
I just got that loose hair tool thingy from dreadheadHQ. Its the only thing that seemed worth the money.
ptience is free the knottyboy shampoo & sprays are..well semi ok, bot unnceacary the aloe gell is basicly just aloe gel, but not pure, i think theres crap in it u dont need.. wax odviosly is bad so if they willingly sell something bad, just how good could the rest be? bronners on the other hand is extremely fanatical about putting out sa good pure natural product..& it works perfectly, so why mess with a company that would sell something that would ruine your dreads?
yaeh lol dr bronners tea trea i love it the bottle is awesome lol like it says all this stuff about love and peace and list like mother teresa quotes and einstein quotes lol
