I ask what a hippy is-I would like peoples opinions on what it means today and I get the thread closed! nice-welcome to freedom of speech in the "HIPPY" forum-wow! I'm amazed-Supermoderator-didn't like the question I guess-for whatever reason I find it real hard to believe that such a simple' innocent question would be shut down!-Well' this says plenty about the difference between then and now. We had more respect for other peoples views and opinions then some do now-sad-not the "hippy" way at all-sorry

Im sure it wasnt anything personal...everyone here in the Hippie forum is pretty cool. I wouldnt let it get to you too much.

 

I guess it's not very appreciated when multiple threads keep popping up concerning the same subject, but don't worry about it. You could always go back and look at some older threads if you want some opinions regarding your question. Oh, and don't worry about the search button thing. I made the mistake of not making use of it when I first started posting. You might want to use it from now on, though, so your threads don't keep getting closed .

It's hard to read a person without being right in front of them. I guess asking about the word hippy in a hippy forum is out of line lol-censorship is dangerous-Bush would remove all private thoughts and listen in if he could. We really don't want to go that direction here-IMO-many have died to keep the 1st amendment alive-

 

Well thanks Lunar-I have been on here for a long time and even though different variations on that question have been asked' I was wanting the opinions of the young people on here as to what they think the word means-not so much the physical but the mental-different people have different ideas on the lifestyle then and now and it changes-as time goes by-

 

Policing on this forum can be irritating. Moderation in moderation please.. he's a paying member for gawdsake.
