Fav classic video game

I guess I would have to say Super Mario bros. It was so inovative for its time and I spent countless hours of my childhood trying to rescue that damn princess, only to find out that the bitch was in another castle.

One question though... Why the hell is Pokemon listed? I mean, besides the fact that its a lame ass card battle game. Is it really considered "classic"? Am I that old?

 

This post really disappointed me. I would like to suggest to the person who shat out this vile turd that you do us all a favor and please kill yourself. Seriously, you are the ruiner of all good things. You are Satan's spawn, filling the world with bile and garbage. You could make the world a better place for everyone with just one simple act. Kill yourself, please, its the only way to save your soul.

I dunno its just that i think of it as a classic now because i remember it was a really big thing and i remember i loved playing pokemon on the gameboy color so to me its classic

Well out of the ones listed, i'd have to go with Mario, Super Mario World was just fantastic when i fist got my SNES, and turned it on for the first time...such joy...

but why isn't SuperMetroid listed?

 

i remember playing oregon trail all the time when i was a little kid, you ever play yukon trail? much more fun imo

 

no, but I've played Amazon Trail and Oregon Trail 3
both are really good

 

I remember when i was in fourth grade there was alot of people playing oregon trail during lunch and i think i tried it once but i found it so boring even though everyone else thought it was great.

 

Favorite classic video game? I love Nintendo, for starters! I was trained to play video games with the classics! I would have chose "Zelda", but I didn't grow up with 'Legend of Zelda', only 'Adventure of Link', and so that one means a lot to me. But I actually chose "Mario" because I grew up with 'Super Mario Brothers 1, 2, and 3', the third being my favorite, of course. ^_^

 

sonic is awesome whilst tripping lsd, though i will admit it feels like a waste of time after a while...

but my favorite game of all time is zeldacarina.

I have mame 32 and about 800+ of the best early console games from 78 to 2000 and not like back then i use on PC 24 IN LCD and 40in LCD nice cgange from 13-19 back in 82.
