Birdman is his godfather. Lil wayne claimed he kissed him out of respect..whatever. Idc if he got arrested, that doesn't make him cool. What would make me respect him and enjoy his music is if he actually came up with the rhymes in his song.

Haha, I can't hold my tounge... Lil Wayne doesn't do drugs? Don't say something that unintelligent unless you have proof; that is pretty embarassing. Wayne is literally ALWAYS high, and no, not just because he says he is. Every Wayne interview I've ever seen, he is cheefin' a nice blunt. Listen to "I Feel Like Dying." The whole song basically says when he isn't high, he can't function (And it's a hell of a song). And as for the "ghostwriter" accusations.. where is the proof? Gillie the squid MIGHT have written some of Carter 1, but who cares? Wayne writes his own stuff, he's a poet in his own way. He does not have a ghostwriter..PERIOD. He is, imho, the best rapper ALIVE... this is excluding Pac, Biggie, and Big L (Who was the best lryicist to ever live). He records new shit every day, and he isn't gonna stop anytime soon. And as for Jay-Z... well... Wayne says it best:
    "You're like 44, I got a 44, I'm 24, I could merk you and come home when I'm 44"

2 Pac is the best of all time simply by how much he is still talked about today
    the king of rap

as for most skilled, I wouldn't necessarily hold that to him, but Hit Em Up is an AMAZING track, I'd put it in my top 10

ahahaha wayne puts out so many songs you've probaly heard about 15 at most, probaly of the father like son album that was basically broadcasted on mtv. Then you say that he has ghost writers? What did you watch that youtube video with gillie da kid? Fuck Gillie maybe he helped on Carter just like above poster said, but wayne comes out with a new mixtape almost every week so dont even say that he fucking gets ghostwriters now. WAYNE>TUPAC & JAY Z
