But Cate, you wont tell them u know me from a hippy forum, wont u ? Tell them u met me in a christian / conservative forum. definately not hippy.
What ? A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do to keep her identity hidden.. Cause noone must never know that I, J.I., am a member of a hippy forum.
well, one of the main stereotypes about Americans is that they are considered brainwashed, close-minded, groupthinking people who over-simplify everything (which is true far too often, anyway). someone who judges an individual's merits based on where they were born is guilty of all these things as well.
"Americans" are from either North, Central, or South America. So yes, Canadians are also a part of the mix... even though, no one really gives a shit about Canada.
You mean not all Americans are loud, dumb, close-minded, patriottic, brainwashed Christan fundamentalists?
Noone really gives a shit about Central and South America. So that leaves us only with the true America - the USA.
Kids In The Hall was good, though. I don't know. it is definitly a more reasonable, albeit slightly less interesting country than the States. I used to like Canada a lot more, and I still do, but they seem to have been getting more and more big-headed and nationalistic as of late.
Yeah, you shouldn't judge people by their nationality. But it's just so easy and so painfully accurate with most Americans. The most simple people in the world. I can tell you the IQ of an American just by reading their facebook or myspace profile.
That is a very simple statement, BSR. You know better than that. And just because you dont 'give a shit' about Canada, doesnt mean everyone doesnt.
