"Men of silence are often branded as being socially incapable, yet intellectually dangerous, with mention of the latter of the two qualities being as reticent amongst onlookers as the individual from whom the quality precipitates."

What does this say about quiet people? About out-spoken folks? Do the two depend on one another, either at odds or in collaboration?

I'm sure you all go out and about at parties and what not; try to take notice of this next time you do. It's pretty intersting IMO. I mean, the false realities we create and abide by...

I am quiet, but not outspoken, for when quiet people talk, thier words hold great significance.
*Perhaps now is as good a time as any... what does IMO stand for?

Well I'm very quiet, but find intellectual matters very interesting. I don't know if I'd say I'm "intellectually dangerous" though.

By the way, here's an aphorism I came up with. I thought it was the most profound thing ever at the time (I really did. I said it was "the most profound thing I've ever heard or thought of" although I was exaggerating), but now it just sounds cheesy. "Every moment is a new world."

Not cheesy its actually fun to ponder that.

Think about it every fraction of a split second that goes by something in this world changes making it not the same as that previous slice of time.

I'm that quiet type and find I relate better to other quiet types when I get them to open up a bit. They generally, this sounds strange, have more to say.

I cant stand that person who talks and talks and talks, then when its your turn to talk you get about 3 words into a sentance and they disagree with what you have to say or decide its not important what you were going to say and start in on a new topic.

Yeah man thats an interesting idea, if you think about alternate realities and how there could potentially be a universe for every split second of time that passes... just more and more slightly altered copies of your universe, ever continuing.
This is without mentioning the fact that the only thing that limits humans to this universe is our reliance on the perception of time. I have read theories that suggest that alternate realities or universes do not even have the concept of time.... try to imagine that.

nothin like a good philosophical thread haha.
