it was bound to happen. I never was a member but I know plenty of people who were both in the real worrld and in the hipforums universe. 95% of my music collection is shows from taper friendly bands. http://www.ifpi.org/content/section_news/20071023.html
Damn this sucks, seems like these sites are getting shut down left and right. Didnt torrent spy bite the dust a month or two ago
torrentspy went offline a few weeks back, but i believe only to USA users. I use isohunt, but only to get my weekly fix of Dexter. there are plenty of music sites that only host shows that are legally traded. I'm going to try and get you that show list this week. You just want GD i assume?
I was just thinking of the dead but im always looking to expand my music collection so whatever you have time to do. Ive been using demonoid for all my torrents but i havent downloaded much of anything since i got my new computer and i dont really wanna fuck it up. But im sure boredom will get the best of me and ill download a bunch shit one day.
exactly, but lately I've been on a couple of different ones that offer a lot more Panic than those two do
Well If you look at it in the arists point of view...its good. Whole albums being distributed months before scheduled released can cause huge slides in sales. Though I love free music, I do feel for the artists who are trying to make a living. Shit it kind of goes with my concept "fuck corporations" and those arists are still rich so why not take a couple free songs ehh?
dude didnt you see that southpark epsidoe about music piracy? thanx to it britney had to trade in her fancy private plane into a not so fancy plane which is the same but lacks a remote for the dvd player. artists kids wont be able to get islands for theyre bdays, etc etc. theyre still rich as fuck, it just shows whether they make music just for the money or because they actually like it :/
Oh i agree its great that its shut down. however the reality is the artists see a small portion of sales from that 12.99 CD or however much they are these days. But since the corp exec are losing all the money they are the ones that have continue to raise prices. if everyone adopts its only a couple of songs it compounds. its like if everyone decided to throw a coke can out the window cuz its just on can.
