Well at least the French are not hung up about sex or nudity like us Anglo-Saxons. There food is pretty good and their cars variable.
i got that feeling more in the cities than in the countryside but i agree generally. that's why i would never want to live there. i friend of a friend came to stay here for a year and he was nice and all... but still arrogant and expected me to do things for him cos im a woman?! we were talking about names at one point and i asked what the bad names were in france, like here we have some really awful names. but he told me there are no bad names in french. i thought that was pretty up themselves. plus it is COLD there in winter. ive been to so many places around the world and although ive loved some of them i still think it's just too good where im from. id be happy settling down here. this country is a great balance of everything. and the people are the best kind.
have you ever had asian food in france? they need to get more imports so they can show them how to do it. come to think of it ive never had good asian food in america either, even when im being taken there on promises of the best food ill ever have.
It is some years since I have visited France. The ice cream over there is much better than anything in the UK.
I am French, I like being French. I am a typical French aryan (spelled right?) so sometimes I have to be careful to not make myself out to be better then others (which I don't believe in the first place) I'm characteristically short, blonde/blue and the hair on my face grows half red/half blonde (strawberry blonde?) whats funny is I lived 8 years in south of France and 8 years in rural Kentucky and moved to NC within the past 2 years. The people were all pretty nice, amazing food, small tables at the cafe though. and I regret to inform you that we are incompatible, as I cold not be anything as stationairy as a tree
