Best places to trip.

I want to be somewhere amazing when I do acid for the first time.
Not just my house.
Like a walk through the rain forest.
Or maybe something more realistic, like an aquarium.
Would one of those long aquariums that have like a tunnel that goes under water so you see all the fish swimming be good?
I know one near my house.

 

not rly..u need to be somewhere where you can chill out and relax..ur not exactly going to be able to that in the tunnel of an aquarium. Unless somehow you booked it out. Which im assuming you cant. So in that case. no

 

the beach is the best (if you can find a nice place with few people--but you're in LA...)

if i were in L.A., i'd drive my ass out to the mountains and go camping.

whatever you do, don't trap yourself in an aquarium with a bunch of tourists.

 

The beach at night is lovely for tripping. Any types of woods are good aslong as you know you have a place you can go to when you feel like you want to be inside. Maybe if you want to plan it rent a sort of woodcabin somewhere?
I also would advice just nightly streets, a place where you can see the stars..

 

Yeah the beach at night has got to be great, I'll try that next summer. Out on a sailboat might be unbelievable as well. I tried the aquarium while on shrooms and a hit of acid and it was friggin awesome, you just have to be careful to not be paranoid or overly loud. What about a corn maze? Hahaha I may have to try this one soon... You definitely have to try going to see one of your favorite artists live, especially any jam bands, garage rock, or anything with a deep groove and a crowd ready to dance. I would love to fly in a biplane while tripping, but that'll have to wait haha. Hangliding might be better though. I dunno I could sit here for a while coming up with ideas but I'm done for now. Mountains or forest is the way to go. or, if you have a friend with a really cool house and a good view. I like the beach idea, but just remember, when your coming up, you may want to just get away from people and crowded areas.

 

Maybe Trance festival would be a good idea, even there is plenty of people, nobody will judge you even if you get beautifully fucked (because they will be fucked too), you can always wonder around the country, or look at the most amazing backdrops or stars...
Belive me, those people know how to make perfect set and setting for your trip!
Plus you will have the opportunity to meet some different species of people hahaha

 

oh man, in LA... the whole time i was there i wished i could do acid because there is so much to see and do that would be just spectacular tripping. go to the freakin' tar pits and the museums around there! there are lots of great museums in LA... if i were you, that's what i'd do.

the aquarium sounds good to me, but i don't care about appearing weird in front of people. i enjoy it. but if you don't it could be bad.

i want to do acid at seaworld someday. that would be amazing, they have the tunnel aquarium with the sharks in it... and the polar bears... and the 4-d movie...

to be honest, though, your room would be entertaining enough .

 

Oh actually, did I forgot to mention psytrance parties? Goa trance parties? They're fun for tripping. The parties are usually very decorated, if outdoors often in nature, and just great for tripping. Did I mention looaads of people do lsd there still? Its only if you like partiest hough; for those who like quietness its probably not the place.
My first lsd trip was at a goa party at the beach (my own country though), and that was just great.

 

you probably dont want to be out in public unless it is some psychedelic party. the wilderness is always the best - go camping.

 

public is fine, "authority" is bad. especially when the authority figures have real power, whether it's to kick you out of a building or to put you in jail. but just being out among real human beings can be a great experience. they don't have to all be tripping, you can connect with all kinds of people. isn't that part of what the whole psychedelic thing is all about?

 

ya ok,,, until they see your huge pupils and start thinking your some druggy. the larger part of the population does not take kindly to drug users!!!

 

in my experience, sober people can rarely understand (connect with) someone who is on LSD.

 

Public is really only good when its people who also take drugs, doesn't really matter what they take, aslong as they do and accept your drug use at the time. So the only times tripping in public is any good is as I mentioned eariler: psychedelic trance parties.

Also if you just walk over the streets at night there won't be many people and most won't really notice you're on something in the first place.

When you're around sober people you just realize how dull and unawakened most of them are. In my case I usually ignore them and dismiss them as if they were just a rock or any other object, so I don't get annoyed by sober people too much.

 

Sober people only annoy me if I don't know them well and if they're talking to me for no appearant reason. Sober friensd who were around in my trip and tripped themselves before never annoy me.

 

although it's getting harder here that it's cold, my recommendation would to do it ouside anywhere you can. camping would be great but if that doesn't work out, really any beautiful outdoor area can turn into something spectacular, and you can really appreciate your surroundings regardless of what they are (as long as they're natural, for me). last time, i just watched the world through the reflection in a creek, simple things seem great. i would personally be depressed being inside the whole time, the only occasion i would want to be inside is to warm up if it is cold outside, or just to grab something. probably with just one or two other friends around doing it or not.

 

booking out an aquarium would be very cool, as long as you had a group of friends to explore it with. except, when i think about it, there is something that would be more cool:

going to an aquarium while some cheapo public school is having an excursion - so that the area has ppl milling around (so the attention is not all on you - kids dont take that much notice of psychoactive people), but also that the kids arent under constant supervision, and might be more likely to do larrikin things that could inspire the inner child inside, or simply break the rigid mould of the society that comes with growing and fueling 'the system'.

i also think that the benefit of a booked out aquarium would be that you could push around a couch on wheels and chill out at cool points in the aquarium, also stand on it to reach the roof dome glass and peek reeeaaallly close at stingrays gliding overtop.

you might even find yourself obscurely communicating with the sharks.

i think that aquarian life would be particularly stimulating on psychedelics due to the very flowing, almost algorithmic pathways of fish and the faint flutter of the vegetation as the pulsing currents move through the sea

or aquariam
or wherever

 

I love the aquarium idea , but I've never done acid, so dont take that as an advice.
Although the first time I did mushrooms, I was out in public, just walking around in the city with my friends and it was never weird for me, probably people did think I was acting strange, but why care about that when everything's so great?
I guess it really depends on your own personality, do you get annoyed when people look at you with the that person is odd look? do you think you'll be able to control yourself in the aquarium from doing something too crazy?
