At 1/2 inch for lobes and going bigger

I am at a half inch on my lobes now. I have set my sights on 3/4 inch. I think I just want two other piercings; one on my brow, and a bridge. I like gauging. I just put my septum ring back in after about a month. It's about an 8g. They say holes close up for the most part. I can live with holes in my ear if I ever don't want jewelry in them.

I've brought my lobes up to 1 inch, and brought 3 cartilage piercings to 4 ga. I'm comfortable with my decision. But I'm very partial to large gauge piercings. I once had 8 piercings, and the smallest one was 4 ga....which is why I won't go on facial piercings cause I'll be likely to stretch it (except my septum, which I had a 0 ga an no one noticed)

 

I am at 9/16 now. Just two more stretches. I am waiting a month between stretches to avoid the dreaded blow out.

In reality can I really stop?

 

It's like crack man. About 4 years ago I thought I'd stop at 00. Then 5/8ths, then 1/2". Now I'm at 3/4 and I"m wondering if I want to go bigger still.

And THANK YOU for waiting a month between stretches!!! All these "I'm bleeding cuz I went from 20g to 00, what should I do?" crap is driving me nuts.
