rainbow family tattoo, good idea?

So I was thinking about getting the top of my right foot tattooed in memoriam of my family It's been long in the works but I belive I've worked up enough wit. I wanted to get a tattoo simular to this design I made, however my design is cheap and computerish.... it'd be awesome if you guys could help me out with a better design, via suggestions and such​

dilli has a tattoo of a rainbow on her forearm. it has nothing to do with the family,she just likes rainbows. she got it before she even knew about the rainbow family.. anyway,her biggest complaint is that anyone other than family automatically thinks shes a lesbian because of it..

just something to take into consideration..

 

I already have thought about that, that is why it'd be on my foot... only people who saw my feet would see it. Postion is always a thing to choose wisely.

 

I say go for it sister. Find a RELIABLE, & PROFESSIONAL tattooist, and go with what you want. There are gay / lesbian connotations that go along with us having a ' rainbow' tattoo, as I can personally attest to, having rainbows as the background of both my sleeves, but who cares? We live the life we LOVE , and I personally have my tattoos for me , myself and I. ( Then my wife, she picks out alot of what she has to look at more than me ) But as a professional artist, the feet are an iffy area. You know what our feet look like after just a day in the woods. But I'm going to go out on a limb and assume you WON'T be getting yer tattoo at a gathering, although if you get it done by us, we provide free aftercare for the duration of your healing time. Try to keep your foot immobile as much as possible, since the foot moves so much, the skin twists and does NOT like to keep ink in. Expect to have touch - ups . No reputable artist will guarantee tattoos on hands or feet, the variables in healing time/conditions for different people is too much to guarantee, no matter what they might say. Most of all, keep it clean, moist- not wet, with A&D or Bacitracin, and as my wife says "LESS ointment, more often " is the key to rapid healing.

:spliff: maybe you should put the writing in the ray of the rainbow
and maybe something in black maybe...but i like the colorful writing... i like it cuz its ur design.... you could also mention somethin about the family... or like a rainbow... then an equal sign then like LOVE ... or something... or your cloudflower+(a rainbow)
= love... idk...hehe... its a beautiful idea though to get that tattood... i have a huge peace sign on my left shoulder and rings around it... with peace in like 25 different languages.... and a compass on the outside... and i have a heart and a peace sign on the inside of my lip... so that everything i say has peace and love in it... hehe... i wanna get a rainbow sometime soon.... and a heart and peace sign on my wrists so that everything i do has peace and love.... if you left me ur email i could draw something up.. and email a pic of it to you...you could tell me what you kind wanted .... i could get that to you faster if you like called or texted me... 3303383162... well take it easy sister... peace and love!!

 

a rainbow around the sun . oh , ya , the goddess speaks wholeness . similarly , a rainbow around a circle and in the circle is a snake which is ~ ~ ~ , the vibration , the wiggle mark in the sand . we live and love in the prime vibration ranbO wiild .

i kinda been playin with a design myself, a rainbow round the earth, & around that a sircle of brothers & sisters (very stylized) holding hands..& superimposed on the earth the peace symbol with a heart superimposed on that
but thats just 1 version ive played around with, thereve been dozens of redesigns & i may never actualy get around to doing it

just so u kno tho, your feet are possibly the most painful spot to get a tat
