Christians and science have nothing to do with one another....poor kids being mislead like that. Real Scientist-use experiments and previous knowledge, develop a hypothesis and test it Christian Scientists-don't allow their childrento have medicine, because Jesus will take care of it, one way or usually the other.
There is a girl in my Anthropology class that is a huge Christian.... we touched down on evolution one day and she argued with the professor so much that we couldnt each finish the whole chapter. It was ridiculous. She also has a sticker on her car that says "Evolution- When Scientists made monkeys of themselves". Idiot.
2nd Place: "Women Were Designed For Homemaking" Jonathan Goode (grade 7) applied findings from many fields of science to support his conclusion that God designed women for homemaking: physics shows that women have a lower center of gravity than men, making them more suited to carrying groceries and laundry baskets; biology shows that women were designed to carry un-born babies in their wombs and to feed born babies milk, making them the natural choice for child rearing; social sciences show that the wages for women workers are lower than for normal workers, meaning that they are unable to work as well and thus earn equal pay; and exegetics shows that God created Eve as a companion for Adam, not as a co-worker.
I just don't see how someone can be a scientist when, faced with all of the evidence of evolution, decide instead to believe Adam created Eve with a rib........Primitive. i actually can't stand it
Grabage pail kids rock!! I use to have so many of those stickers.. I wonder if i still have them laying around some where!!
Ridiculous... hahaha I mean it would be funny, if it were a joke. These kids are the fundamentalist/facists of tomorrow. It won't be long now before they are old enough to round up the "non-believers" to be led to slaughter in the "Salvation-camps". well ok, they will probably just get eaten alive in the REAL world, by people who aren't so BLIND. hahaha, good link though, thanks jerry.
1st Place: "My Uncle Is A Man Named Steve (Not A Monkey)" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA - thanks Jerry! I needed that.
1st Place: "My Uncle Is A Man Named Steve (Not A Monkey)" Cassidy Turnbull (grade 5) presented her uncle, Steve. She also showed photographs of monkeys and invited fairgoers to note the differences between her uncle and the monkeys. She tried to feed her uncle bananas, but he declined to eat them. Cassidy has conclusively shown that her uncle is no monkey. .................Wow, that evidence is compelling. Do to this new information, I am now converting. Why didn't someone show this before!..................
That's great, so all you have to do is tell the teacher what he wants to hear and you get an A+. The blind leading the blind.......
But please can anyone answer this question: Can anyone tell me when it was discovered that the earth was round?
yawn bored now. come on don't hold back, you haven't done in the christian forum, why don't you tell us all your view on homosexuality for instance?? S
