Hey Everyone- I just saw on myspace that there's a John Waters contest going on at www.dokument-films.com- if you go there and answer the question about him, you're entered to win an autographed screen printed poster of him! How awesome!! I've got my fingers crossed! Just thought some of you might like to know!

I love John Waters. He has a very demented mind but to me that's a good thing. But I don't know if I'd want a poster of him...he's not very appealing (at least to me.)

He scares us all. That's what makes him so great. ;)

I'll try for it, even though the poster is creepy as hell. Love John Waters... favorite film of his has gotta be "Serial Mom". Anyone else?

I haven't seen Serial Mom or really any of his more recent movies but I heard they aren't as great as his earlier works. However, I have seen his Hairspray (haven't seen the remake though) and I loved it. I love Divine but didn't like him in this movie...too bad it was one of his last ones. :[

But my personal favorite of John Waters' is Female Trouble. "I wouldn't suck your lousy dick if I was suffocating and there was oxygen in your balls!" classic. XD

I still need to see that one... having a hard time finding his older stuff.

The remake of Hairspray is all right, maybe just because I love musicals. (Ticked me off that it wasn't filmed in Baltimore though, JW is the only thing we've got except a high violent crime rate.) I just hope it doesn't lead to a string of remakes instead of new stuff. :-/
