Does anyone have any really good kielbasa or smoked sausage recipes? My boyfriend loves it but I'm sick of making it only with carrots & potatoes in a pot! Thanks!
We had a pot luck at work a few weeks back for a guy who got married. This woman brought a really great and simple kielbasa recipe - lemme run to the kitchen and get it. *back* lol Sweet and Sour Kielbasa 1 package kielbasa 1 jar of La Choy Sweet & Sour sauce (only one size) 1 large can crushed pineapple 1 large can Mandarin Oranges Slice kielbasa in 1/2 inch pieces (appx) and fry. Drain fat. Drain juice from pineapple and oranges. Add pineapple, oranges and sweet and sour sauce to kielbasa and cook on low until all thickens. Serve with rice and veggie of your choice. I'm not big on meat, and especially sausages - but this was fantastic tasting. For regular sausages, try googling for recipes with apples and sausage - tons of them out there. Pork and apples go really well together.
I love kielbasa, my Dad made it a lot when I was growing up. He made it with baked beans, and German Potatoes. Its a favorite here.
