I am a huge fan of buckethead, his style is so unique and is a genre in its own, but whenever i meantion him to any of my friends or for that matter anyone i know they just give me a blank stare of "who the hell is buckethead".

so does anyone know of buckethead or listen to his music?

I know him. Despite his great stage outfit (and I mean that, I can dig it :D ) not really a fan though. Too much progressive metal elements for me.

He actually quit that 3 years ago. Ron Thal is playing with GnR right now and he truly is wasting his talent because he makes Buckethead look like a rookie from a technique standpoint (look up Bumblefoot if you want to be blown away). That all said I have the collective works of Buckethead and am a huge fan and he is one of my greatest influences in my guitar playing. He and Paul Gilbert really hold down the alt picking/legato runs. If you want some really wild stuff check out his work with Colonel Claypool's Bucket Of Bernie Brains. Claypool and Buckethead jamming? I think so.

Does anyone not know Buckethead? He's pretty awesome and somewhat trippy.
