i need help choosing my first SCALE

ok, i need some help. ive never bought a scale before and im buying this oe as a gift for someone who needs one. i pretty much jsut want to get my moneys worth. the place is safe cuz i bought other stuff form them before.

im trying to decide between two of them....

this one:

ROCK WORLD EAST - DIGITAL SCALE #1

and this one:

ROCK WORLD EAST - Digital Scale #2

they seem pretty much the same to me... but i cant be too sure.

I would go with the second because its elf contained and black.

 

Yah I would go with the black one. I had one just like it.

 

they are both the same pretty much. id go with the first one because you can use the lid as a weighing tray.

 

I liked the second one until you brought up that very good point wonka. I would get the 2nd one if you plan on taking it around with you. But if its just ganna stay in your house get the first one.

 

thanks guys. i think im gonna go with the black one. im realizing that they are pretty much the same i guess.

i was just worried that one of them was going to be a far superior product or something and i would never know the difference... ha

but anyway. i think i'll jsut do it and go for the black one.. thanks!

 

you can use paper as a weighing tray too....anything works....

 

yeah, a scale is a scale preatty much. Unless you need somthing going into the thousath place or somthing.

 

i kept on looking after i decided on the black one and there is one that looks just like it and its $5 more but weighs more than 2x as much.. is that a good deal? im probably gonna go with that one jsut because its only a difference of $5.

and as for ebay, got ripped off once, wont do it again... ive orderd from this place before... and i trust the people who run it.

and besides, if i buy it new it will come with a crazy like 30 year warranty or somehthing...

can anyone tell me if i can delete one of these threads... becasue i really didnt mean to do that.....

 

2nd one measures to the nearest .01, so I'd go with that instead of the first one which weighs to the nearest .1. It is also self contained and harder to recognize.

 

has anyone ever heard of the infyniti brand before. im jsut trying to check if anyone else has any of this brand. the warranty is amazing on them... but i jsut want to knwo if anyone knows about the quality of them...

 

Ive bought so many digi's in my time that its insane. But I highly reccomend one with a tray, its very handy when you got those extra-wide loads.
