Hi everybody. I'm currently taking a class on the underground economy, and for an upcoming essay we need to come up with a way to successfully set up an ecstasy lab and produce/sell it without getting caught. I've been doing a bit of research on the topic but I was hoping I could get a bit of help from the people on here. Some things I'm looking for would be what types of equipment will I need for the laboratory? I know that Safrole is a DEA controlled substance, but are there any other ingredients to ecstasy that are going to be monitered? Anyways, any help I can get would be great. Thanks, Justin

It's a course a McGill university. Econ 316, check it out if you want. I know that I haven't posted before, but that's because I've never really needed to know about, or have been involved in any of this before. That is why I'm a little lost on the whole thing. Anyways, I figure that I'll need a pill press, I read somewhere that some laboratory was just consisting of an industrial grade mixer and an autoclave. Am I missing anything crucial?? An ingredient list for ecstasy is easy enough to find, but does anyone know which chemicals are monitored due to their use in making MDMA (aside from safrole which I'm aware is monitered)?

Thanks so much for the information. I'll post my work if this is indeed the topic that is chosen. For the assignment there are two topics, one of which will be chosen tomorrow. We then have to have the essay written by monday, which is why I'm trying to get some sources together and some research done before hand. I'll let everyone know how this all goes.
yea the class i went to that taught me how to produce and sell drugs was called ...jail its in the new york state at Rikers Island....has anyone ever taken that class .... i must have kept failing cuz i took that class for 2 years...lmao
