Stop overreacting. I agree with TheShow that overly political correctness creates racism. It's like he called you a clown because you're acting like one. It's nothing against clowns, there are no ulterior motives, you are simply acting like a clown. And Manny, though I love him, i can see that at times he acts like a monkey. It's not a blac and white issue, it's a monkey human issue. I would only respect your claims if you were in fact a monkey and the previous comments of being compared to a professional baseball player were offense.

Well, that was an interesting read Not much of a baseball fan myself, but that WAS an interesting read. In regards to the "hippy web-site".......maybe, but this is the MARIJUANA forum......not everyone that smoke MJ is a hippy. I will be the first to say, i am in no way, shape, or form, a hippy! aye that was an embarrassing few days. Boston out pitched, out hit, out fielded but most importantly out managed. Too many times hurdle left pitchers out there who were throwing poorly. Congrats Bosox fans, but I'm still glad our management is too cheap to purchase a consistently strong team.

That being said I did enjoy all the announcers making fun of manny's inability to keep hit helmet on his head. Also, did you see barely after the celebration began he caught a cab and split? weak sauce, but that's manny being manny, man.

 

Hey who knows show, next year, knowing the redsox, odds are we'll lose horribly the first time we play you guys. The rockies were an awesome team this year, that's for sure.

And btw, what's with the fucking Arod commercial in the middle of the 7th last night. I heard on the radio that his agent was behind that whole discussion ($$$), how lame is that? If the redsox sign him for next year I won't watch but 1 redsox game all season....

The Rockies have a hell of a better chance than many NL teams at returning to the playoffs in 2008. If they get there would they sweep both NL rounds, highly unlikely. But they showed they could pull it together and play when they needed to from may until mid october. Like I said earlier we were out managed. Down the stretch hurdle had no issue pulling pitchers when they began to meltdown; for some reason in the world series he let those meltdowns become 3 mile island.

Yeah the strike was about greed. The owners were being greedy and keeping too much of the pie. There was a time when owners and players didn't make these outlandish sums.

Everyone has their personal beer tastes. For a mass produced domestic brew, coors isn't too bad. Sure as hell is better balanced than that horse piss from the Stl. Bush and his cohorts are quite greedy, yet you accept the greed of professional athletes. Interesting.

I don't accept anything. Greedy sports figures are just that though. if you could get more money wouldn't you demand it. Anyways i'm a fan of the Cubs. They're the hot ticket for next year. They'll make it a damn sight further than the rockies anyways.

 

Greedy sports figures are that because the fans allow it. People bitch about the outrageous cost of attending games yet they continue to do it. I've had the opportunity to get more money but I believe in the marginal utility of money. There are others who need that extra cash.

why wouldn't u just take the money, donate it to a worthy charity, and use it as a tax write off. Then everyone's a winner.
