Can a blood test show THC?

i need to get a blood test for this medication im about to take (acutane). im getting tested wed. and i smoked today (sunday). i know they wont be looking for drugs, but if they do find it what should i expect. thanks for any help

then it ends up in your pee.

I don't think they can legally test for THC without your or your parents permission. If they bust you for it without telling you they tested you for it you can file a lawsuit or something.

 

It will cost the medical office extra money to add a layer to the testing

for yet another thing.

Unless somebody is going to pay that extra, doubt it will be part of the deal.

 

your drug tests is privleged information for YOU and your doctor only. They are NOT allowed to share the test with parentals or police. You can take your test and be using meth and coke and they cant do anything to you. Especially if its just for acutane also...you have nothing to worry about.

 

No, the THC does not actually end up in your piss. Drug tests look for a metabolic biproduct, not the THC itself.

But no, partially due to privacy laws, blood testing adheres to strict guidelines. Your blood will not be tested for drugs.

 

You don't have anything to fret about. There iis no reason ot test for weed for acutane, and most doctors don't give a crap anyway. Unless you or a parent asked for the test, they won't do it.

Confidentiality laws vary from place to place, so they may or may not legally be able to tell your parents if you test positive. However, they won't run tests for no reason.

if they ask. just say you were around your friends who were smoking weed. this way you will have breathed int he smoke and thats where the THC would have come from.
you cant get in trouble. they wont ask any more questions
and you parents never need to find out.

also. i have had heaps of blood tests, the thc does show up. and they just dont ask.

 

I'd be more worried about the side effects of acutane, My buddy was on that 5-6 yrs ago and it made him borderline suicidal.

 

Dude your fine, I was on accutane as well. I was blood tested every month and was fine.

Nothing to worry about.

 

Acutane is great
I never got suicidal... but its the horribly dry skin that will suck
