Are you implying that people can't understand the Trinitarian concepts without having the Spirit of God? The body, soul, and spirit analogy is bad, because it is an example of modalism. On earth Jesus submitted to the Father, prayed to the Father and the Holy Spirit alighted on Him as a dove. Jesus did not pray to himself or do a magician's act. http://biblequery.org/Doctrine/Trinity/Trinity.htm I think that main thing to get from the Trinity is that all are Persons. Distinct yet inseperable. Father is God, Son is God, Spirit is God, together.
But I believe in the Bible, and the bible does say that Jesus is God.. I'm not goin gto argue with you, God gave us the choice to believe what we want to believe. So go ahead, believe what you want, but don't debate with me on this. Why is it, that Christianity always has to be the most debatable Belief out of the many?...
I dont have a problem with you, I don't have a problem with anyone on this forum..I'm just sayin, believe what you want..you are goin gto do it anyways.. All I'm saying is that, these threads tend to turn controversal and I want to avoid that.
If you want me to debate about it, I will! .. I was being silly..I can't argue with the guitarman because.... (thats a mystery..) Its not against my religion to debate against you I dont think.. I said that for another reason..
I don't have a problem with anyone either, and I agree with a lot of what you said in earlier posts. But to me the whole point of Hip Forums is to debate ideas. It doesn't mean we're antagonistic toward each other. Discussion is fun and educational. You and the rest of us can (and probably will) believe what we choose, but if you cite a Bible passage like John to show that Jesus was the son of God, you can expect some back talk. You and your posts seem pretty intelligent, so I can see why people were disappointed that you seemed reluctant to continue the debate.
My post previously here was not directed at anybody specific. I had only read the initial post on the thread and knew that it was a futile thing to try and change the mind of the one who posted this thread. I was making a joke.
I think I'm going to die and have a heartattack! Somebody help me.!I'm deing of a broken heart! I'm in lovee! Help! I h a t e a g e d i f f e r e n c e !

It's not unusual, though fortunately not legal to do something with, but that statement was DISGUSTING. Sounds totally pedo dude.
Here are some answers to the questions being raised in the initial post of this thread. But then again, people are going to believe or not believe whatever they desire to believe or not to believe. http://www.answering-islam.de/Main/Trinity/beckwith.html

Hi, I am an honest Christian and I want to say that the Bible supports that Jesus is God. I totally understand the first thread from the muslim guy, but I think that to put it up like that is not correct. Why do we need to know God like He is very easy to understand ? For the Bible and followers of Christ, Christ is a mystery. He is God. That comes from John 1 verse 1 to 3. So saying that John who wrote the gospel bearing his name is saying that Jesus was not God is going against what John has understood. The Bible declares that it is a sin to adore other gods. But the Bible teaches that we should adore Jesus. I am not going to make a defense of the Divinity of Jesus, but want to point to you that the Bible clearly teaches that Jesus is God and says its a mystery. You know, I've read commentaries from Augustine and other thinkers before Him, and its still sorta a mystery among Christians to understand how a holy God can walk among us. Does it make sense ?
Although I agree that the Christ is a mystery, I argue that his mystery lies solely in his dinvinity. The myster of Christ lies in two things to keep wit your original idea. The first is what exactly Chrsit is. Some say he was a human who became God, others say he is half and half, other say he is human and divine but the divine supressed the humanity, and many others still. It was the mainline early church that decied that he is bothe fully divine and fully human with equal wills of each. The second mystery is how that acctually works and continues to this day. One of my proffs who I had this term wrote a paper on the midieval attempt to reconcile the divine and the mortal Jesus and his "nocturnal emissions" (I know this is very low, but when you think about it, very important). If Christ was fully human, he must have had all of the same functions of us (even the impure ones such as bowel movements, nocturnal emissions, erections and etc...). However, if Christ was also divine, can he ever be impure? If not, does that mean Christ didn't ever have noctunal emissions and therefore isn't human, or does that mean that he wasn't pure and terefore not divine? That is the mystery of Christ to me, not realizing that the divine was realized on Earth, because it had happened before (Abraham's tent, Moses and the bush, and even in Hellenistic culture the gods walked around on a regular basis it seemed. In Hindu theology too the murti are seen as embodiments of the devas when their eyes are opened)...but the myster lies in his nature.....
