I took one ten mg Zolpidem on friday afternoon, and will take a labratory screened drug test on wendsday morning. I know that Ambien is not a benzo, but was wondering if it is even possibly to test or if it will cause false positives. Thank you for a quick reply.

Correct. Ambien (or Zolpidem) is not chemically related to any drug currently being tested for. It is a imidazopyridine rather than a benzo like you said, although its mode of action is not that different from benzodiazepine.
I think it is drug, I don't know why I thinks, but whu used it first time always want second time ( like drugs).
It's benzo like in it's qualities, but it's not chemically similar. Basically no drug test tests for ambien, and even if they did ambien is water soluble so would be out of your system within 3-4 days.
