A'hoy. Has anyone heard an album called 'Rogue's Gallery'? Produced by Johnny Depp and Gore Verbinski, it's a colllection of 'Pirate ballads, sea songs and chanteys' - It's pretty good like! Two discs, 43 songs and some pretty sweet artists...Nick Cave, Rufus Wainwright, Richard Thompson, Jarvis Cocker and Lou Reed all have a song. The music is canny folky for the most part, but it's a bit out there at the same time
Probably because it's not for public broadcast. It's pirate music. Only meant for private ears. (I've been waiting six fucking months for the opportunity to sneak that one in )
