History tells that Labour isn't the best choice. Sure it's tough with the Liberals in power - but what about the other option? Will Labour be able to pull the weight? The latest news of Rudd playing Robin Hood is good. I like that idea. I like the fact he wants rich people to support everyone but can he handle everything else a government has to handle?? He first struck me as incomparable idiot but now he's convincing me a bit.

Whether or not he is a dickhead is quite subjective. He is definitely intelligent having received a 1st Class Honours degree, and having gone up through the ranks of the public service. I think he would be a better PM in terms of our foreign policy (he did after all work for DFAT). Other than Workchoices I'm not sure how good he would be in terms of some of his other policies, but anything would be better than the Liberals/Nationals.
this country is going to be so fucked when rudd wins. im dreading to see how much they screw us over, all the ex unioinsts. fucking oath only about 22% of people in the country are union members anymore and they are 70% of their party!>!?? bad idea. it'd be just as bad if they were 70% doctors or dentists or nurses. you need to have people from different waks of life otherwise they will all be plugging the same agendas. and most of them are thugs!! why do people think this isn't a bad thing?? we are SO screwed the "anything is better than johnny" attitude is going to end us up with the most ideological goverment we've ever had. and also i saw rudd propose his tax deductions on computers for school kids thing. am i the only one who thinks this is a very stupid idea!? it's hard enough getting kids off the computer and outside to play as it is and now he wants to make sure every kid can have their own computer. it'll be a new generation of obesse kids who spent all their time in chat rooms and playing WoW. A better plan would be to give that funding to schools to make sure that every school had a good number of new computers for the kids to learn with!!!!!
Wow Ruski ......... you sound very intellimigent. I agree too. However, we have to take the goods and accept the bads. Unfortunately there's no better option. The local council here in Broome is full of idiots too and they've destroyed the place and ensured the real Broome becomes a myth. I miss it. I wish I had been born 30 years earlier
i think they all have their priorities wrong. besides greens. there is no point looking at business and work choices and stuff if there isnt even going to be an environment for us to live in. we need to be looking at ways to live environmentally friendly or else it wont matter who is PM. we are going to be fucked anyways.
