transfer of viruses from animals to humans are the bad ones - like sars
they come about from bad living conditions with too many people and animals together and not enough hygiene

 

people don't finish taking their antibiotics, take antibiotics for things that don't NEED antibiotics, don't completely kill it off, they hone the remaining living cells, the tougher ones to kill, and those morph into something even harder to kill. superbug.

May I ask what type of cancer? I've been involved closely with a number of people going through cancers with a poor prognosis but who are surviving.

grade 3 follicular lymphoma. typically incurable and unheard of in a person under the age of 30. also, it's the exact same disease that struck dave's stepfather AND dog. bizarre, right?

he underwent both chemo and radiation. it damn near killed him, the poor sweetie. he still has to go in for testing, but he's clear thus far. he was stage 2, and it was growing at an incredibly aggressive rate. but their success in treating him has the oncologists in a frenzy of excitement. it's like nothing happened. his hair is growing back perfectly, he's already gained weight, and they removed that thingie from his chest, i can't remember what it's called. his immune system is PERFECT. it's amazing.

people don't hear about that much. i used to be able to eat it, but after a stint as a vegan i now have an intolerance for soy and many nuts. i still eat them anyway, but i get really sick. my mom has the same compulsion with tomatoes.

 

Its really easy to overdo the soy once you go vegan, and precisely because no-one mentions its bad in large doses and because its in so many "vegan products" it can become a crutch. Its something about oestrogen in the beans or something? Luckily i made the connection before i had no hair left at all, although its still got a lot of growing back to do!
