A little help on self awareness

Heres a song I wrote about all the people that always think the grass is gonna always be greener as soon as they get out of the relationship they are in at the moment. Alot of them keep asking themselves how come they keep making the same mistake over and over again and they just can't figure out why. In relationships alot of times the blame is'nt always the other person, but yourself trying to change the other person. Maybe the change needs to be in yourself before you change someone else. That's a really good song. It could very easily be the theme song for my last relationship, and I'm sure many couples. A meaningful song that many can relate too=nice work!

My favorite part was the verse:

Forward -funny you say theme song. Heard a few comments in the past about people hearing it as a movie theme type song. Okay. Thanks though for the comment. I just tried to give people a little selfawareness of a few things.
Marija -? interesting name. Anyways the personal part of it is everyone seems to come to me time and time again about how the grass will always be greener if they just get away from the point they are at, and then months later a new relationship with the same problems. Humm theres a pattern here. Just wanted to give a little insight into the world of relationships. Thanks again for the comments.

Truthfully Maria thats one of the greatest comments someone can give to someones song. Thanks and in what way does it fit into your life? If I may ask.

 

That is a beautiful message. I like the lyrics, but I was really impressed with your post in general. I think that is an extremely mature outlook that is lacking in 95% of people, and it is what dooms so many relationships before they ever have a chance.

 

Well i was having doubts about my 2 year relatinship, i felt like i was missing out alot of "18-years-old-free-girl-life". I was negative and sceptic about the future of this relationship that in one point i totaly forgot about my bf, his feeling and the most important: what i great guy he is and how much i really love him.
It took: drunk night with my firends, a conversation with my mother and your song to wake me up.

 

StayLoose -that was a great compliment that you gave us. We used to post in the music forums and still do sometimes but all it was doing was bringing back the good and bads of a song and not really letting us know if we are heard as a meaning or just a musical score. Thanks so much for the words.

Maria -You have made the day around here. It's always nice to know that someone has benifited from our music. Next problem you have, if any, you won't have to get drunk. Just drop us a line. We'll send ya a song. HeHe. Relationships are alot of work and understanding. One of the greatest gifts I got was someone who taught me that there is always two sides to every story and before you past judgement on others you must first pass it onto yourself. Get all the answers to the questions before you ask them and in that way you will realize that you have looked at the situation completely and most of the time you'll come to a conclusion you understand. If not then you talk it out, but just the fact that you have studied the problem before letting it get to you is half the battle.
