I'm sorry, i rather enjoy my Xbox, my Edwards' Key Lime Pie and going to go see the new Western at the local theater.

The only other options than consumerism are cavemanism and comunism.
I like having the right to say George Bush is an idiot, (or that I like him) and I like the right to go see a good movie, or play a good videogame, or have a slice of pie.

 

Man, there is one greater option than all of the others that mankind has come up with in it's history. Peace. Why hasn't anyone ever thought of it?? Oh wait they have. If you want to understand the perfect way of life for us all then listen to Imagine by John Lennon man. That describes the perfect way to live an' be at peace doin' so man. As for communism. You do realise that communism in it's essence was never a bad way to govern society don't you? As a matter of fact if it had been implemented correctly it would have become a perfect society man. But human greed an' hatred brought that idea to a halt, corrupted it, an' set it loose on the everyday man to run rampant an' kill all in it's path. Its nutcases like Hitler, Stalin, or Bush who are bad for our world's colesterol.

Comunism doesnt work. At all. its like India's Caste system, but even worse. I want to choose how I live my life, what I do, and how I do it. I want to choose who leads me, I want to choose to be in the army, or to not be.

Its communism that gave us people like Hitler and Stalin.

You know what, peace is impossible. People are bad sometimes, and sometimes those bad people are smart too. And when you mix evil and smart, you get someone with the ability to influence others then you have an evil man or woman in charage of others who will do his every bidding. So as long as there are those evil ones, there will be war, because without war the evil ones take over. Sometimes they do anyways.

There is only one way to stop war among humans, and that is to wipe out every single human being. Frankly, I dont like that.

 

And to add on to that, when communism is implemented correctly, it still doesnt work, because there will always be the evil ones. That is where communism is completely flawed. When an evil man gets put in charge there is no way to get rid of him or override him. That is why we have democracy, so when evil is in charge we the people can overthrow that evil without having to resort to civil war.

 

Its nothing like India's caste system. Communism is supposed to be a CLASSLESS society

Peace is impossible when people like you think it is!!! Of course intelligence knows no good or ill. But do not justify those actions....dont be complacent and what spooner so aptly called apathy.

I agree wholeheartedly man. Peace won't work untill people decide to make it work. The problem with our world today is that so many have listened to the lies that we've been fed for so long they've become basically braindead to anything else man.

 

its not only that we have listened to lies, it's that this is a new generation, for the last like 10-15 years, we have been programmed to think independently, to cheat our way to the top, to be destructive to be constructive, that no one else matters but you,me,i...its about money, its about material...all lies, but things are true now that this has happened and is happening. The only way us as a nation, world, to be together at peace, I know this sounds farfetched, would be like, an invasion from outerwordly entities, or possibly this whole global warming thing..who knows...peace is free, but we have been taught..MONEY!!..greed..it's superfoulus to think this too, but in all honesty, it's what we were taught to think, and so we have made it this way. have we become brain dead?no...we have become brainwashed. Our rights are gone,we are brainwashed, and we are alone...apparently. Peace can be acheived easier than hell man. If everyone in the world smoked pot all the time we'd be at peace man. Thats all we need. Weed, ganja, pot, green, you dig man?

Scientific fact states that those planes didn't destroy those towers man. So does the government. They blame the atrocity on the fire started by the planes. 10,000,000 gallons of jet fuel into each tower. But what happens when a jet crashes into something man? that fuel vaporizes almost instantly. I know I've talked it over with my bro (Who used to work on jet engines for the military during Desert Storm) The fuel couldn't have possibly started a fire that was strong enough to take down a building that had been designed to take an 8.7 earthquake. An' even if it did the towers would have blown outward not inward. An' they would've gone from the top down not from the bottom up. The entire foundation of the Twins gave way before the top of the towers did. An' how do you explain the building nearly 2 blocks down the street that also fell. My dad used to work in a factory where they had to demolish buildings all the time for other people. He even says that those buildings had the look of somethin' blown from the inside by explosives. An' he still blames it on the terrorists. It just doesn't work man. Those towers were rigged an' if you want the best proof check out the movie Loose Change. It might change your entire view on this.

 

An' that is a dead bullshit ringer man. Charles Manson didn't have those poor souls up on weed he had 'em brainwashed. He was very charismatic an' people followed him simply because he seemed so appealing man. An' it wasn't just women it was men too.
