I was thinking people could do something on halloween. Maybe not a protest but do something for peace. Does anyone have any ideas?
You could always give out condoms instead of candy in order to encourage safe sex practices from an early age. That's one way of helping the world.
Well, in PETA we give out candy with stickers on them. Check out PETA2.com for some ideas. You can change the sayings to whatever you want. It will just give you an idea of what types of things can be done!
Have you checked in the activism forums to see if anyone there has ideas? It's too late to order stickers from Peta, but if you buy sticker sheets (you can get them at an office supply store, like Office Depot), then you can design your own stickers or print Peta's stickers onto the sticker sheets (http://www.peta2.com/TAKECHARGE/t-stickers.asp). P.S. There actually was a girl who got pregnant when she was five years old... but you still should not hand out condoms to small children. lol

Or Hellraiser. I don't like movies about rape, they make me cringe. I think people shouldn't rape each other. It's a really rude thing to do. You could maybe teach children about the true meaning of Halloween...? There's much more behind it than trick-or-treating and pumpkin faces.

I promoted peace by putting the kids at my school on a sugar high. Put on a green wig and painted up my face to look like San from Princess Mononoke (</anime fangirl squee>) and gave out candy to everyone in my classes... put everyone in a better mood I think. Besides, it's harder to call someone a bitch when your mouth's full of caramel!
