Lately it seems like my hair is thinning out more and more; more is coming out when I brush, in the shower, in hair ties, all sorts of places. Various friends have given me some possible situations:

    1. My hair is shedding because of the changing seasons.
    2. I wear it back in clips/ponytail too much.
    3. My hormones are wack.

I'm not sure what to think. I have a bit of thyroid trouble, but that's been taken care of for several years now, and I'm on regular meds to prevent this type of thing. I'm not sure what theory to buy.

What do you think? I'm only nineteen! Female baldness shouldn't be setting in yet! Or hopefully ever!

Hair comes out of you head all the time... I know I lose a lot of hair in the shower but I don't believe I'm balding. I guess don't worry unless you are getting like huge clumps everyday, otherwise I think its pretty normal

Well i had the same problem, especially at the front of my head, but generally my hair now is a lot thinner than usual. I did a bit of research when it first happened to me and there could be lots of reasons

For me it was because of particular illnesses i had. I started a course of natural remedies for that and took my B vitamins (including biotin) and also started eating much more raw food and its now growing back, slowly

There could be any number of reasons for hair loss:( wish i could be more specific. But seriously it could be hormones, just a natural thing, a vitamin or mineral deficiency...are there any other symptoms? Anything at all, even if seemingly unconnected? I may be able to give you more answers if there were

As it is id suggest ensuring you get all the vitamins and minerals you need by eating plenty of wholesome foods. You can try massaging your scalp each day which may stimulate the hair folicles over time, although if the underlying problem runs deep it wont help

If this is just a small amount of hair i wouldnt worry, because thats natural. If not, do some research and see if youre lacking in anything

Also, do you A LOT of a particular kind of food? Sometimes food overdoses can make your hair fall out

Hope your heads thick with hair again soon! And mine!
