I have a confession. I live my life, every day - just as every other day. Depending on what day it is, ill go to work, uni, watever. I interact with people on a daily basis, talking and laughing with them. But, i think most of these people have no idea. They just continue doing what ever they do, they snarl at other people when they do something, look down at people they think their better than. Why should i succumb to these threats to my integrity, if i know all these worries about life, people and the world - why do i continue as if nothings wrong. No one can ever truly understand the context of another persons mind, but i think i have a fair idea with most. Stuck in their matrix, continuity of nothing. NOTHING. end? start? - how?...where? nothing. Its meaningless, but we play so many games. So many power struggles, struggles for superiority of existence, acknowledgment of existence, ego games - everything - life. Its all so pathetically meaningless, but why does this person beep his horn at me? cause he's stressed out, tired from working all day? so what. Everyones stuck in their minds and i refuse to follow suit. Is this selfish of me? how do i distinguish this desire. Should i just shutup and go along with it like so many other people. I meet so many people who i think know what im talking about - older, younger - but why do they continue, smiling like they like it. Whats there to like. Understanding is such a big word. So unfathomably incomprehensibly infinite. Understanding - understanding what? how the birds sing? why ur boss hates you? why that guys smiling? whats that made out of? the meaning of existence? so many different levels. so much arrogance with any particular understanding. Everyone thinks they know…but what – who cares? I don’t, just smile and get on with your chores. Anyway – did I confess anything? I don’t think so…can’t leave you empty handed now can i… im elvis.
Some people are just like that. All you can do is do your best to be nice to people and help people rather than try to be better than them. People are insecure and thats why they take it out on other people and try to rise above other people. I'm sure we've all done it but some of us grow up and respect people.
It's just the Tao expressing itself, it does it in many ways, why? unfathomable, and fathomable as we are apart of that same expression, however we are (thanks to our ego) only one distinct part of the Tao.
but Tao is simply an understanding, an understanding i respect and agree with. Society doesn't conform to this whoever - we're driven by greed, fortune, egos and the mystical longing for happiness. Im at a point now which i know i will evidently get over, but the knowing is still there - knowing that this filth and corruption is ever so present. And in the not so distant future i will be apart of this monarchy of misconceived truths as to, im assuming, will you. My question i put to you my dear aussielander friend, why should we? we are our own persons. fk those guys. No doubt, however, so many people have thought these thoughts before me - where did they end up i want to know. What decisions did they make, where are they now? whats their advice? cause i sure dont know any of them. I guess ill just sit back and wait for 2012, then lead the new revolution of world order. It'll be fun, you should drop by some time.

incorrect the Tao encompasses everything, everything is an expression of the Tao. Society does conform to the Tao because society is apart of the Tao (even the unpleasant bits, e.g. corruption.).
when i start thinking like that, PP, i remember a quote from philo who was a man from ancient greece; he wisely said "just be kind, for everyone you encounter in life is engaged in a great struggle" chasing understanding is an interesting use of time, but it is not necessary in order to simply accept the "warts and all" factor of life and be a bit of the pond that is calm and - placid? keep dancing, sweet. :dance: we can only be living examples; no one can be forced to change, but if they see you as a person who is peaceful and happy no matter what they will eventually start asking why, and how. that may then open an opportunity up for them to change in the way best for them. :sunny:

Yet i feel as if i already knew it, but just needed someone to tell me. thankyou I feel i don't encounter people like you, maybe i do and i just dont see it - regardless, it would be nice to hear a thing or two in time forward from now but not before tomorrow.
