Big hello's and greetings I found hip forums vegetarian section. I love food and I love vegetarian food. I have to admit something though. I am not a strict vegetarian myself but I love cooking my partners food and she is a vegetarian fully. Vegetarian cooking is was and always will be a challenge for me as it is not easy to make vegetarian food interesting I find, but thats because my mom was a kid in the 50's or 60's or something and vegetarianism hadnt been invented for the masses back then. I have some recipies to share and also some ides and information. I really love experimenting with flavouring. I use herbs and spices and oils to produce flavours that really appeal to me. Even if I am just making a fried egg sandwich I have to experiment in that way its like I am on a mission or something I dont know. I dont want to say I am a great or even a gooid cook - I am not even good at it. I just love doing it ok its a passion with me but still I know my limits and want to learn others cooking secrets OK heres that egg sandwich I was telling you about put 2 or 3 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan take a teaspoon of parsley a teaspoon of oregano a couple of pinches of paprika and a pinch of salt and a couple of pinches of pepper oh and some concentrated lemon juice if you have it (a teaspoon full) throw all that into the hot oil in the pan Fry that mix for about 2 minutes so its really a hot pan, too hot, actually so the mix is almost but not quite overdone ok now carefully add a bit more oil and throw in some tomatos and mushroom fry that till mushies and toms are soft now add more oil and break the egg into the pan cook well and stick the mushies, toms, and egg on a slice of bread. With the other slice mop up the mixture in the pan and then stick on top of the sandwich - now make yourself some tea or coffee while that mix cools a little -= then eat - superb
