Since I received such a wonderful, fast reply to my first Salvia question (thanks guys, it does indeed work in a hand pipe, but the effects are far softer. Be sure to keep the flame on the contents while inhaling for a while else you will waste a couple bowls like I did).

I was wondering if the standardized salvia extract that is sold for smoking..er burning as incense ;-) can be used sublingually. I've heard of using leaves or alcohol tinctures to good effect, but it'd be great to be able to drop a pinch of salvia extract under the tongue for 30 minutes.

Any experience with that approach? Thanks again in advance!

It worked for one of my friends though I haven't tried it. You never know that kid always fakes shit anyway. . Still it should work

It works... yeah, but it's quite tough to keep in your mouth for the required 20-30m or so. You build up quite a bit of saliva really, and it just doesn't taste to nice!

It really works? I want explanations and trip reports for this. I've never heard of it working other then smoking. I've read it does but I've never seen proof.

Haji, do it, come back, and tell us what happened! What extract is it?
