If America Attacks Iran - Will You Take to the Streets?

They all bow to their lobbiest payroll. They all fund their campaigns through insurance and other funds that buy their allegiaance. Dennis and Ron Paul are the only ones I see that can't be bought.

 

No one got to them, they've also bought into the political line. They all attend the same parties, rub elbows with what they think are the influential people, trouble is they none of them see the working US citizen as influential. Thing is they underestimated US.

 

I think Dennis K may have been legit, but it seems he was recently gotten to and bought off.

 

I don't think Dennis can be bought. I don't think he can be elected either, which is a shame.

 

I don't find it all that strange. The more remote your prospects of getting elected, the more unrealistic the policies you can support, since you know they will never be implemented, e.g. Ron Paul. Serious candidates like Hillary have to be more realistic.

The democrats know they are stuck in Iraq, they won't be able to just immediately withdraw as soon as they get in office. They are right to be angry that Bush is passing this disaster on to them, and they can criticise everything that has been done up to now. But looking forward, they know they can't come up with anything radically different than is being done right now. Everyone wants out, the question is how and when, the answers are not that simple.

 

Why would the people who bomb food markets, mosques, hospitals, and the UN suddenly be full of love and peace when the US leaves? We left southeast Asia and the Khmer Rouge killed a million people.

Most of the killing is Iraqi against Iraqi. The US is keeping these sides apart. Pull the US out and all hell could break loose. The country could split at end up at war with Turkey or who knows what. That's what people on the ground are saying. Maybe that would happen no matter how long we stay, maybe its a problem that can't be fixed. But its a pretty serious problem.

And to think this started out as a poll about taking to the streets after a fictional invasion of Iran. Skip I have a ton of respect for you but there is no way Americans are going to take to the streets for anything. Corporate America has most of middle America fat, comfortable and distracted. As long as the average Joe has toys to play with and junk food to add to his massive, sit in front of the TV and computer all day ass he isnt going to do a damn thing.

We live in a country where you can drive through the housing projects where our so-called poor live and see satellite dishes on every other apartment and enormously fat assed welfare princesses outside on their cell phones. You think those people give a shit about Iran or Iraq or anyplace that doesn't sell lottery tickets?

Maybe we do need a revolution but it isn't going to happen. Not until Americans understand what it really means to suffer.

People do not think about anything but themsleves. Thats why Hitler was able to do what he did in Germany and that's why Bush gets away with the shit he pulls in America.

 

You have to be kidding. Hillary is only being taken seriously because her campaign works for the neo-cons. Funny that a Republican like Ron Paul is minimized. Why is that? Because his platform threatens their agenda. They would rather campaign against Hillary...like they did with Kerry and Gore.

And Gore's Nobel prize has him waiting in the wings to take over the democrat nomination if Obama and Hillary prove to be non-runners. It's a big joke.

 

Serious candidates= Guilliani, Clinton, Obama, Thompson and Romney...according to media coverage they are the only serious candidates? Guess what they've been hand picked by their corporate bosses, and I am not buying into it.

Ron Paul is a Republican, he's an educated man, and he speaks openly without hedging his bets. He's a serious candidate, one of only a few.

 

Let's look at these "serious" candidates:

Guilliani, we are supposed to elect him because he was in New York right after 09/11.

Clinton, she's a woman and if you elect her you may get the benefit of her husband's experience.

Obama, he's black and reasonably personable, but not extremely experienced.

Thompsom, is an actor and we all recognize him from Law and Order.

Romney, is a Mormon, handsome and a family man.

 

I hope we do Bomb Iran's powder plants ? If you really think they are being used for power you are blind they are being used to enrich uranium bottom line. And I don't know about you but no way in Hell I want Iranian Mullahs in control of Atomic weapons ?????

itd take americans in america dieing to get things rolling as far as a revolution attempt is concearned.....but thatd be quickly put down if people in other countries arnt waking up wile everyone is bombing each others countries....it that was the case....i doubt the mass media could keep the un together....let alone soldiers obedient
