My friend and I are thinking of getting a steamroller from chunky glass. The 12" one looks tight as shit, very portable, and like it hits like a bong. But something tells me that a bong would be better. What are the pros and cons of a steamroller vs a bong (currently we have neither). I was thinking, a steamroller is hard to make, but if you get a slider a decent bong can be made pretty easily. What are your guys' input?
I've never hit a steamroller but the bong is wonderful and i've asked my friends the same question before. they told me to get a bong. so i'll pass that on to you
steamrollers are pretty much just bongs without water. i have a prety big one but i prefer smoking out of my bong. you can make a steamroller with a toiletpaper/papertowel tube and some foil. i would get the bong if i were you
If you want a bong don't get one from chunkyglass. They are just not worth it. They do have nice steamrollers, and nice pipes. I may even pick on up soon.

sometimes me and my buddies roll a joint and get a paper towel roll. Put a hole in it and stick the joint in the paper towel toll and Wha La a steam roller.
I'd say go with the bong... water filtration does make a pretty huge difference. The smoke is compressed but a lot more harsh with a steam roller.
a steamroller is a big harsh rip. it will get you there quick but you will kill your throat. id say go with a bong for the water filtration. but if you really cant decide, get a water filterd steam roller, there pretty neat.
i would say if you want something smaller like a steamroller but want the water filtration then get a bubbler. you can get a nice bubbler for pretty cheap its like a bong but more portable i think. i had a friend that used a toilet paper roll steamroller for months and just kept putting tape around it. that thing worked pretty good but i dont care for smoking out of aluminum foil anymore. im getting a sherbler here sometime around the holidays when my friend comes back from college.
the 12" one he's looking at on chunkyglasspipes is pretty thick and it has the biggest bowl iv seen, on anything.
I love bongs a lot but you really need to have like a "smoking spot" if you have a bong. I cant really take a bong around in my car or keep it in my room so Id go with a steamroller. My freind had one and it hit really well.
I like bongs better, but if you get a steamroller dont forget to WARN PEOPLE! i coughed long enough to see spots the ffirst time I hit one, and the guy was like "oh yeah, it doest that, sorry" and with a good bong you can put ice in too, thats a great feeling, but check the size of ice you have, it will suck if they are too big.
