has anyone tried this stuff? its not a single malt, it's blended, but has about $150 price tag. I'm enjoying a bottle of the red label, and just wondered if anyone has tried the blue?

I've tried it at a bar once and it wasn't bad. $20 bucks a shot though. It's been a while since I've tried it though and I don't think I could describe it from memory.

LOL. Johnny Walker's advertising department is genius.

The Blue Label (and others) are so expensive, but the quality of the stuff is shit. They can produce it for the same amount of money it takes to make water. The reason its so top-notch is because of its label.

I'm going to have to argue your statement that the quality is shit. I enjoyed my $19.99 bottle of johnnie red much more than the $32.99 bottle of chivas regal 12yr. And the blue label includes whiskies that are no longer in production and consists of some whiskies that are much older than both of us combined, so even if were the quality were shit (it's not), the rarities of the whiskies in the blend would constitute the price(at least in the case of the blue label).
