Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy!!!!

Woohoo!! The BEST story ever is finally making a comeback, after 25 long years of waiting (man i was getting tired of waiting, with me bein 18 an all...) but there's going to be a NEW radio series, starting like, next week!! The 3rd, 4th and 5th books (Life, the universe and everything/So long and thanks for all the fish/Mostly Harmless) have been recorded with the original cast, not including Peter Jones (as the book), BUT, including the late great Douglas Adams as Zarniwoop (Ruler of the Universe) He recorded these parts before he tragically died of a heart attack two years ago.

Also the movie is coming out in 2005, which is really fantastic cos they've wanted to do one since DNA wrote the original story but it never got off the ground - have a look at the casting, i have some doubts about some characters but nevermind...see how it turns out. Heya, I hate to contradict such an obvious Hikers fan as you mate, but there's a few inaccuracies in your post hope you don't mind.

So far only Life the Universe and Everything has been recorded and was supposed to be transmitted earlier in the year but stuff tod o with the movie delayed it till now. The final two books should be being recorded soon.

Douglas Adams will be playing Agrajag (the being that Arthur keeps inadvertantly killing) using segments of the audio book that he recorded several years ago and always said he'd love to play one day.

I'm very much looking forward to it, i've listened to the original radio series so many times and judging from the trailers, Dirk Maggs has done DNA proud! Roll on Tuesday!
