So a few nights ago I had a dream about a man, a celebrity. He's not a big time celebrity that you see in gossip magazines, but he's on TV and in movies. Anyway, parts of the dream were sexual in nature, other parts werent. The thing that struck me though was that he would touch me (like his hand on my face, not other parts (get your minds out of the gutter, please)), I could FEEL it. It felt unnaturally real. And the only time that things felt that way was when he would touch me, or vice versa. For example, I remember putting my hand on his neck and I could feel the curve of his jawbone and the stubble on his face/neck. So here's the part that I'm stuck on. Immediately after waking up, I felt like there was something more to it than it just being a dream. I felt like maybe there was something I was supposed to "get" from it, or ... I dont know. And I haven't been able to shake that feeling either. For whatever reason, also, immediately after that I started to study up on astral projection. My ex tried so hard to get me into it, because he said I seemed to have a natural knack for it, but I was never really into that idea. I just kind of thought of it as ... silly, sort of. Anyway, I just have this feeling that there's something else I'm missing, or should be doing, or ... something. I feel like it wasn't JUST a dream, there was more to it. Any ideas? Thank you so much in advance. PS - Dreams about celebrities is nothing new to me at all, by the way. I frequently remember my dreams, and they're usually strange, to put it mildly.
I think your ex was right, Kristy... Something else you're missing? LOL It's staring you right in the face. I'm not an astral projector myself, but there are lots of folks who drop by this forum on occasion who have experience with that--try opening a new thread on the subject. Look for books and online info on the subject--and start meditating.
The thing that I dont get is why THAT dream of all dreams caused me to have this sudden compulsion to try to project. Is there something I'm missing? Was I supposed to get that from it? That doesnt even make sense to me.
Hi Kristy The dream to me is about embracing the purity of connections, (past, present, future) from a whole place. The other side of this is an over lapp of energy showing you how to heal, and move beyond yourself through the power of touch. Yes you have a natural ability to astral project. Those with a vine like energy in their aura, like yours, do astral project without difficulty. Almost as if they are growing another leaf. In this follow your heart, face yourself, Do not fear the intensity of your passions, and state of vulnerability, and do not get lost in the wow factor. Your abilities within you are increasing, thus the Star energy in dreams. As you awaken within you, you rise higher, and find you are becoming. The challange is you also will face your own doubts. How does all this fit into the path you are on? This is a place where your guides are teaching you to Be true to your self. As you give you receive. As you do, is done to you within the energy fields. This is also a past life recall with like energy. So would seem you have known this person in a past life. As much as love changes form, the connections stay a part of you. Back to your aura from here it looks like a emerald green vine with ivy like leaves, and small white flowers. This would say to me you are eclectic in nature, and often seek the confidence, and stubborn places within you to take the next step, as you like being in control, and on safe ground that you know. We are here to stretch our hearts, and become more than we dreamed. This is what you Dream, that was more than a dream, means to me, and is a message from the other side that all is well, and you are profoundly loved in ways you have yet to imagine. As you embrace your own healing, and tap into your own sacredness of Spirit, you will find a depth inside you that is like a hidden river filled with intensity, trust, and hope.
We experience vivid dreams maybe every night... but we normally forget them. They occur during REM sleep. You might pinch yourself to see if you're dreaming, but you would conclude that you must be awake because it hurt! On that subject a good test is to hold your nose... can you still breathe? Sometimes we do remember them- this normally happens when we wake up in the middle of them. There are other reasons as well, but your post suggests that your dream ended when you awoke. When you wake up during light sleep you feel rested. You don't remember your dream. When you wake up during REM sleep you feel tired and groggy. You will feel like you have to get back to what you were doing. Sometimes we can't stop ourselves from rolling over when our alarm goes off and going straight back to sleep. I get the same thing as you (a couple of times a month). That same sensation of there's something missing but you can't put your finger on it. Its normal and the reason is because you woke up during REM sleep, not that you need to see a psychic.
