What do you think about him? and do you think Iran is secretly making nuclear weapons as the Mainstream is suggesting?

Ahmadinejad is smarter than Bush, did NOT threaten Israel (he was misinterpreted), but is too zealous in religion for my taste.

Plus, he is not in control of the military, so Bush(assholemotherfuckingpieceofshitbastard) is LYING again to get us into another war.

A genius in a land of fucken lunatics.

He is a master of mass control.

I think that the whole religion thing is just a facade, I'm just that deep inside he's too smart to believe in all that stuff. It just helps him control the masses.

This is why I don't think that Iran and Israel are gonna go to war anytime soon (unless the U.S. does something stupid). Ahamadinejad is too smart for that.

(On a side note, my physics teacher looks just like Ahamadinejad... like his copy. He really loves physics though.)

He'd be a fool to not want nuclear weapons, as having them is the greatest protection against invasion if you have hostile governments willing to attack you.

I don't think much about him because the "threat" he poses, compared to those running the country that has been wanting to invade Iran for over a decade, is almost non-existent. It's clear the US will do anything to provoke a war against Iran. As far as Iran making nuclear weapons, I highly doubt it. The same people telling you this are the same ones who said Saddam had WMD's. Pakistan already has nukes, and they harbor terrorists, but we never hear anything about them being a threat. This whole 'War on Terror,' as I have said before, is a total farce, and fear is being used to carry out an agenda that was planned long ago. You'd have to be incredibly naive to believe a word these people say.

I figure they are lying about their knowledge of his having N. weapons.

I also figure he MAY be working on some very secretly. But I don't blame him. His country is being seriously threatened by assholes. I also believe that if he DID have them, he would only use them for "security" purposes, because to do otherwise is suicide. So, unless he is so deranged that he would rather completely blow up his OWN country rather than be controlled by outside influences, I feel he is far less dangerous than Bush and crew.

I like the man, although I don't agree with some of his intentions.

However, the current policy within Iran itself is a reflection of Khamenei and not Ahmadinejad. The true power is with him and not with the man on display.

Mahmoud is highly educated. His personal religious beliefs are a guiding force for him. He waits for the Mahdi, and attempts to bring him into the present day by creating the conditions that would signal his arrival according to prophecy.

When you combine the Judeo-Christian equivalent in the western world (The end of days types), it is a bad recipe for disaster.

All parties are now waiting for the arrival of their own brand of savior to set the world straight. This keg of dynamite is already lit. Its just a matter of calculating the length of the fuse attached to it.

    Know when to run.

Ok, his phrase "wiped off the map" was misinterpreted, but what he did say means the same thing.

    Let's see, he's made threats to Israel,USA,EU,UN,IAEA,

Listen to his prayer "before and after" every speech.

I think we can summarise the opinion here thusly:

Q: What do you think of Ahmandinejad?

A: I hate Bush. I don't care if Iran executes 16 year old girls for "crimes against chastity". Who gives a crap? Iran must be good because they hate America and Israel.

You are a sad, sorry soul, Pepik. Stop pretending that the US cares about the lives of innocent civilians, when they have murdered hundreds of thousands in cold blood.

He has never waged war and killed innocent civilians in the name of fighting terrorism. Or turned a blind eye while Israel bombed a democratic arab state: Lebanon.

it doesn't take much to be smarter than bush.

He is a very smart and educated individual. He is trying to look out for his country for now and into the future. He is very religious, to the point of fanatcism, but then so is bush.

I can understand why Iran would want nukes, as a "deterent" for their neighbors which include Pakistan. Do I want Iran to have nukes ? No Would I agree to attacking them to prevent it ? No because that could cause more problems than if they do get the bomb. There is also the very real possibility that it could be just as he says, for power production.

we, the us, worry about what Iran will do with nukes, better take a leerly look at Pakistan. they HAVE nukes and are not very stable currently. they can and will attack India if provoked and either one, if cornered, will use nukes.

I find it ironic how a country that ignores the Nuclear Proliferation Prevention Act is the same country that damns other countries for creating nukes.

Iran doesn't have nukes. If they started to build nukes, it would take many years before one is made. Iran is a country that has been peaceful for 150+ years, and only fought to defend themselves.

Contrary to popular belief, Mahmoud does not have any power in his government. He is pretty much a joke in his own government, and everyone else around him is running the show. Mahmoud just runs his mouth sometimes, but it doesn't matter because he simply doesn't have the power to do anything.

Iran isn't a threat, and don't allow people to tell you otherwise, especially the media.

GE makes huge profits from wars. It is no surprise that the same presidential candidates that are warning you about Iran, are the same ones that are receiving financial support from GE and other special interest groups that aim to profit from the presidents decisions.

Don't believe me? Find out for yourself who is donating to each candidate:

If the religious repression in Iran was being conducted to the same degree in say, a Catholic country, like a South American dictatorship in the 1970's then people would be denouncing that repression.

Because the repression is Islamic, not Catholic it gets a pass, why?

Why are people circling the wagons around a nation where Females are private property, abortion is forbidden and homosexuals are jailed?

I could go on but I better just shut up.

I think at this point in time the general population of the US is simply worn (war-n) out on beating people up for oil or terrorism or freedom or whatever. We're just sick of it and we don't trust our leaders any more.
And in all of that, some of us realize that every culture in this world is different FOR A REASON, and if we spend too much energy in worrying about and trying to control other people's cultures, it tends to lead to war.

Altho I DO have my own opinions about such things as Womens rights, abortion and alternative sexuality, probably very similar to yours, I am wondering what business it is of ours? It's the "I don't like the idea so we should ban it" mentality. The need for CONTROL... The "white man's" ideas of how everyone must live, according to them, have systematically crushed so many different cultures across the globe thru history, in the name of "civilizing" them. What makes that right?

Sheesh, even in Star Trek, while time travelling it is forbidden to interefere in any situation, good or bad, because it could cause the future to change from it's natural path. That was SPECIFICALLY because of respect and understanding the importance of the natural order of things. ;)

    Exactly.

For Piney: Because society finally wised up and decided the Inquistion and Rome's goals for world domination were no longer to be trusted, is no reason to pit one religion against another. None of them get a pass in my book.

Maybe some day we will all look at Southern Evangelicals in the same light...power mongers that wish to market to the masses.
