I'm exceedingly curious, having recently been in experiences taking me into observation in operating rooms...

Anyone who has had a surgery: what was your experience? How were you treated beforehand/afterwards? How much discomfort afterwards? Was it a surprisingly not-bad experience / awful experience? Scary -- and if so, how was that managed?

The only surgery I have had was to remove my wisdom teeth. That was the best sleep I have ever had in my entire life! I was so at peace I didn't want to wake up. I remember wondering why someone was trying to wake me up.

i have had several surgeries ,, most of which i observed beforehand, being in nursing has its advantages,,, totally different worlds but both fun for me,,,
any surgery i have had even though put under, i hear everything going on but feel no pain...
recovery in short term is always a horrible event,,, i get extremely ill for the first 2 or 3 days afterward n usually remain in hospital because of it,,, whatever was operatedon have prbably less than normal persons pain but effects of anesthesia get me pretty hard n for longer periods than should,,,
