Hi people, I'm new here but have been lurking for a while. I'm off to Amsterdam in Dec and would like your advise on things to do, places to go... places to smoke. I've been before but i was twated the whole weekend and didn't really apreciate it. so whats everyones top 5 things to do?
Hey dude 1. Number one, for me, is an obvious one, but kinda gets brushed past seeing as how alot of people take it for granted when in Dam. Buying great quality gear, and enjoying it so freely and easily. 2. Visit "LOST In Amsterdam" (a great place, they dont sell on the premises but you are allowed to smoke) Plays awesome tunes, and has a really relaxed atmosphere. 3. Hang out with my mates. Although this is kinda a given because if there going on the holiday with you, of course your gonna be hanging out with them. But because of the environment, you appreciate everything alot more, especialy your friends. 4. Walking around the streets after smoking a few. Everything just seems so wonderfull, and its fun to just soak up the sights y'know? 5. Late night quater pounders / Donuts & Waffles
WOW! Lost in asterdam looks just like the kind of place i'd like to spend a few hours Andy! nice one For me and my mates Music is a really big part of going out. We don't really want to go to any places that play euro techno or typical stoner stuff like Bob marley. Can anyone else recomend any other bars that play really good music?

Ij Brewery 13. noordermarket 14. tiger and kantjil indonesian restaurant 15. Tong Ah Chinese Restaurant 16. Bird Thai Restaurant and Bird Thai Snack Bar 17. Get hot / fresh made stroopwaffels from the guy near albert cuypmarket 18. Nam Kee Suranamese Restaurant and take out snack bar YOU HAVE TO GET ONTO THE CANALS!!!!

What kind of music you into? If your into heavy metal, or just rock in general, check out the `Hard Rock` rock bar just outside of te red light district. Remeber walking in and they had the Iron Maiden Rock In Rio DVD on, and the intro sound heavier than hell! Another time they were playing the Red Hot Chilli Peppers live DVD and the guitar solos seemed to last ages. They have a large selection of music DVDs behind the bar, and if you spot somethign you like, request it and they stick it on. The music in LOST I suppose is your stereotypeical `stoner music` but not in the Bob Marley sense. In the way that it is very chilled out and laid back.
