hi guys i got my dreads done on the 19th of sept this year, anyways im kinda keeping a photo diary of them, so here are the first 22 days of progress!! im currently washin with the crazy baking soda/salt/teatree soak about twice a week, keepin them salty with ocean salt spray every couple days, and i just learnt to use a metal croquet hook so have been using that to fix up the frizzies... tryin to keep them nice n neat for work! got some knottyboy soap in the mail, so will be giving that a go soon too! --- ahhh i cant get this crazy photo thing to work, so the pics are in my gallery... how do i get them onto the post???

they look great. where did you have them done? btw, are you filipina? if so...so am i. i'm almost at 11months. can't wait for my one year bday.
thanks guys for the kind words i must say i love my new locks, even my mom's had a 180degree turn around in attitude and told me that she likes them, she was mortified when i told her i was getting dreads to begin with, haha! i can feel that they are just starting to really matt down, the roots where all the new growth is starting to dread up, and theyre getting less frizzy everyday which is great, and with the whole crochet thingo it's cut down the maintance time, and they look tighter and less frizzy without any clay or wax, yippee i got them done at www.twistntwirl.com.au if you are in melbourne and looking to get dreads, cornrows, braids, extentions etc, this girl veronica is bloody awesome, lovely chick, and knows what shes doing! i am actually going back to her in probably a months time to get my free checkup, im excited!! hehe, people always ask me if im philipino, but im actually taiwanese! nobody thinks i look taiwanese cept for my parents, haha!
been here since i was 8, so ive been here for 18 years i must admit, i feel a lot more australian than i do taiwanese!
i checked out the site. did you get the silky ones or the temporal ones? there wasn't an explanation for what the temporal ones are...
i know theyre not the silky type, but i duno if they are temporal or not... i figured theyre just normal dreads?? haha i actually just called her up and told her i wanted dreadlocks, made the appointment, went in, told her what i was looking for and off we went...
well its finally been 50 days, the dreads are coming along slowly but surely, they frizz up heaps less when i wash these days, and the miantence time to keep them sorta neat for work has lessened heaps, hoorray! the ends are also starting to matt and tangle now, woohooooo!
Awesome man, check it out, another aussie hahaha, still, too many eastern staters Hair looks awesome! Keep it up :]
