where can i get my hands on a straight up distiller that would be used for distilling liqour, or better yet, instructions on how to make one... ellis? maybe this should be under the beverages forum, but i was looking for the green fairy, and she falls under this one, doesn't she?
A purpose-built liquor still is illegal to posess in the USA, so you arent going to find one for sale. A Google search on "home distilling" or "moonshine still plans" will turn up a lot of possibilities. For small quantities, the best setup is standard laboratory glassware, available on eBay, or from any number of other sources. If you make your own still, use only "food grade" materials like stainless steel, glass, and teflon for any surfaces that will come in contact with your product.
