It appears that Abbie was wrong about sending half a million soldiers around the world. That's how many troops and contractors (both mercenaries) are working for the US military in the Mid-East theater right now. US imperialism regained life once the revisionist history was taught and accepted. Young people never learned the lessons of Vietnam. And still they try to rewrite it to suit their current political situation. When we wonder where we went wrong, perhaps it was shirking our responsibilities to our children, our planet, ourselves.
