Well yeah having a high school diploma or GED will help you in whatever you do most likely, and you can go to a community college or something.
But aside from that, you shouldn't know what you wanna do at 18 anyway. I just figured out what I wanna do and I'm on my third year in college so don't worry. No reason to rush... just experience and figure out what you enjoy and what you could possibly do with it job-wise. You'll figure it out.

And let me just say that whatever attitude you have will affect the outcome of the situation. If you think you're gonna fail then you're gonna fail. But maybe if you are optimistic you can do it

The first thing you should do is tell yourself that you have the power to do whatever you want, it's a matter of how willing you are to achieve your dreams. School is important, and if you're willing to do well (I'm hoping realization of your current situation will encourage this) there ARE people that will help you. I promise. Tell your guidance counselor or a teacher. There's summer school and virtual school, you might be held back a while but it will pay off in the long run.

It's best to start thinking of what you would like to do. You are 18, so you should have some idea of what you like to do. Just pick something out and go with it. Put yourself around good people that will back you up and help you out.

You have the power to be whatever kind of person you would like to be. Do what makes you happy, but think about happy in the long run too. Security financially and futuristically will give you a peace of mind, and there are many ways you can do this for yourself in an enjoyable manner.

If you would like further advice or ever need to talk, feel free to message me. I check my messages everyday. :]
