Now that I've rolled with a variety of people from a vatiety of places, I've come to find out that everybody's got their own thing when it comes to the music they like to jam to. I personally havn't experienced anything as magical and transporting as electronica; the second would be certain types of rap, mostly bay area rap and dance music in general. The majority of the people I've met and rolled with since I've moved and gone to college don't really feel techno though, they mainly like rap when they're thizzin. I've only come across two people, a set of twins, who liked classic rock on their roll. I'm wondering what all of you like to roll to?
rap would make me want to kill myself if i were rolling. it comes close when i'm sober. techno is always good. and i like russian t.a.t.u...
I like the same music I normally like, the only difference is that I like it more The bad thing is when you are rolling and you are listening to music you hate, that is really really bad and slightly dangerous
ahahaha TATU might be good\ but... i very much enjoy drum&bass (D&B) music and other dance music with deep beats. when i roll and im dancing, i want music to give me something to stand on, to dance on, to float on, and to fly on.
There is one song that is hands down (everyone I know who has listened to it agrees) the absolute BEST song to hear while your rolling. It gets your heart pumping, your brain racing, and make your bady get goosebumps and cringe at the same time.... Fat Boy Slim - Funk Soul Brotha Remix (Don't know if that is the name) But it's number 2 on the "We've come along way baby" CD. About 3 minutes in the song slows down and is like "Thhheeee ffffffffffuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnnkkkkkkkkkkkkkk ssssssssssssooooooooooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuullllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll bbbbbbbbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrroooooooooooooooooooootttttttttttttttttthhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Then gets really high to the point where you feel your going to lose your mind!!! It is fucking nutz!! If anyone here has heard it you know what i'm talking about,,, insane Definitely a must have CD `{[Fat Boy Slim - We've come along way baby]}` ~PeAcE & LoVe~
Bay area rap has very different beats from other rap. Alot of it is made with rolling in mind - and made while rolling heh heh. Like the song I'm hearing now...
sometimes the repeating beats behind rap really piss me off when rolling, but if its a good rapper on the top it can be good. basically cannot hear any words so its gotta have a sweet bass
Good trance is amazing. Requiem for a dream soundtrack is really good also. Dj trashy Cocaine vs Extasy dj tiesto Extasy Both are my personal favorites. Drum n Bass is also fucking amazing. Like soo much better, and the louder it is, the more intense I get.
Heh try laying on top of two 15 inch subs that are slappin away. Seriously, do it. Requiem for a Dream would make me way too thoughtful and probably in a negative way. That movie trips me the fuck out.
Yea I can see what you're saying about requiem. I usually think about all the positives and negatives and just take them for what they are, not really getting too wrapped up in a negative slope. The movie has such strong emotion and a large part of it is the music. Idk, I love emotion when I'm rolling, any kind really.
I love listening to classical music (like Mozart, Beethoven, etc..) or Pink Floyd. Just very flowey kinds of music.. Ive never tried trance or techno before though... not really sure why not.
