I think the real fad is apathy.

I do stand corrected here. In a sense the apathy is a bigger for than the fascists currently in power because it is that apathy that grants them their power.

Yep- but the planet functions much like a living organism and man has begun to act like a disease pathogen with his factories, cars, and environmental surly manner of usurping natural resources. Weather and ocean currents are being altered quicker than normal which will bring about a correction faster than usual.

 

i don't mean to completely distroy your hope in changing the world and all, but, people are assholes and don't give a shit about the future. We want what we can have now. Do you think the Romans knew [ or hell ,even cared] what an impact on the world what the murder of Jesus was going to do? Or , Do you think the john Sutters cared what an impact on the US it was when told everyone about the gold he found? Do you think The plantation owners cared about the future of the African race?

Basicaly, Shit happens. Make what you can of it and think of the now and nothing more

Stick to your guns. Conforming has but one purpose- to win others' approval. When you realize that the most important person to please is yourself then you grasp the shallowness of conforming- fitting in. You'll keep your self-respect and win the respect and admiration of those who actually matter.
