I wear straight legged jeans so they conform to my boots.

I Just don’t make the mistake of wearing a pair too short (which is easy when your 6’ 2”) or go through the humiliation having someone sound out “clam diggers” [IMG]

Mine are always perpetually too long for me, I always walk on them , and the bottoms end up all raggedy looking.

I wear straight legs and boot cut jeans. It's hard for me to find jeans because of my legs...too long for regular jeans and a bit too short for longs.

I really cannot stand st8 leg jeans. And even if I were to wear them, I could only wear them if it was winter and I could wear a big pair of boots over em to disguise they are infact skinny jeans.

Straight leg jeans and skinny jeans are not the same thing. At least not to me.

No real shape... It's just straight. Kinda bunches at the foot.
    I prefer these over skinny.

    Skinny jeans.

me too. i think a slight flare is flattering on all types.

skinny jeans, however, are not. unless youre going for that insipid emo look

and i have seen a lot of potato-shaped women wear skinny jeans. not pretty.

Yeah that's the thing straight leg jeans aren't as tight as skinny jeans. Bootleg jeans are my favorite. Flare jeans make my hips look bigger than the others.

    Same here.

Funny thing- over the years the fit has changed. I've long worn a 32 waist and about 10-15 years ago I was expecting to up-size by an inch or two but apparently an inch measures differently as of about 5 or 10 years ago.

When I graduated High school most jeans were slim fit and incredibly uncomfortable- especially when brand new. These days I can find them comfortably baggy... and I need a belt to hold my usual 32's up.

my pants dont' fit anymore. its to the point i don't even have to unbutton or unzip the damn things to get them on or off. some i don't even have to unbuckle the belt to get on or off.

but it'd be useless to go buy more jeans until i get to my ideal weight hahaha
